Claire and Cooper met at a Tacky Christmas function senior year of college. Though their friend groups overlapped throughout college (their roommates were even dating each other), they somehow did not meet until that Christmas party!

One snow day following the party, Cooper and Cole, his roommate, picked up Claire and her roommates in his truck. “Life is A Highway” by Rascal Flatts was playing over the radio, and Claire was singing along in the backseat. Cole asked Claire if she was a Rascal Flatts fan. She responded back saying no, but she liked the movie Cars. Cooper quickly turned around saying, “I love Cars!” And the rest is history.

With jobs in different cities post graduation, Claire and Cooper spent the next two years traveling between Little Rock and Dallas, and life did, in fact, become a highway! They enjoyed exploring Dallas restaurants together, spending time outside in central Arkansas, and meeting in Fayetteville for Razorback games.

Once they each finished their Masters programs, Cooper moved to Dallas. Chili, Claire’s dog, was happy to finally have his dad close by!

Throughout our relationship, we have taken many trips, but our favorites have been to the beach. We're so excited for you to join us as we head to the beach to say "I do" in April of 2024. See you soon!
